Illuminator is kind of a plug-in experiment with a patch I put together in GR5 that feeds back what I play with the fuzz tone to me as a drawn out pad sound over a longer period of time. Semi-influenced by the Animatrix short "Beyond."

Hillcrest Park also uses the same plug-in I put together. Scott Pilgrim reference? This is gonna appear with some words on it on the next Vapor Gang album.

Tracks 3, 4, and 5 are all failed experiments for music that was to appear in the movies "Zemene", but was ultimately scraped. I have two tracks that I worked on appearing in the movie however. The point of this EP is essentially to amalgamate all the tracks I did using the patch I wrote for GR5, so it made sense to put these on here. Ultimately, I've labeled them as "music on the cusp of audibility," the idea being that if you set your volume to be comfortable with "Illuminator," these will be on the edge of recognition, and serve more as color than music.

Track 6 is just Illuminator without the fuzz lead.
